The camera body is waterproof to 3m. It's dustproof too, so you don't have to worry about dust or sand getting inside. And it has passed drop tests at a height of about 1.5m. Did not receive item

I did not receive this item. I was very disappointed as I had ordered this for my husband's birthday. I was very pleased with Amazon's response. They did investigate and returned my money. I was not pleased with UPS' response. They basically accused the homeowners of delivery address of lying about the delivery. Homeowner was home when "supposedly" delivered and did not find item at doorstep as UPS claims. Maybe Amazon should consider using different delivery method. The other two items that I ordered, the battery and memory card, were delivered by USPS and they got to us.

Excelent for the common user!

Before buying this camera, I read a lot of review's that supported and condemned it. After taking in consideration everything, I made up my mind and bought it. The truth is I'm extremelly happy with my desition. Pictures are great, quality also. It has lots of features and it's very easy to use. I would recommend it to any common day-a-day user, that only want's a good camera to travel with and to use it to remember those trips. For expert's, I really don't know. I'm not, so I don't know what this camera lack's of to satisfy their needs.

I love this camera!

This camera is great! It's easy to use and I love all of the great features. My only complaint is that occasionally I get a blurry picture but I think it because I need to change the settings. I'm really happy with this camera, I love it :)

Would be great if it worked

There is no warning that says that this product does not work with ipods past generation 3. The speakers work, but not the video. I already had speakers. So now I have a beautiful looking paper weight.

Great Camera

Great camera. I spent a lot of time researching all the cameras in the waterproof/freeze proof category. Its easy to use. High quality pics and video. I use it snorkeling, surfing, snowboarding, ice skating. No problems with underwater use as long as you follow directions. (make sure the doors are completely closed and rinse after. If you have an active lifestyle and want a compact camera to go with you, this is the one. I'm very happy.
