Love this camera!

Still learning it's features, but even the first shot was a huge improvement over my old Nikon Coolpix L6, which had a long delay. I'm catching all those cute grandkid moments in action, no more back of the head frustrations.

Great Point and Click

Bought the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR1 in November and have been very happy with my selection. With 12.1 megapixels, the pictures are clear and crisp. The camera easily fits into your pocket, but don't let the small size fool you on quality. I have been so pleased that I recommended that my son and daughter in law purchase the same camera.

I also purchased the 4 gig memory card, which will give you over 1,000 shots. This is a great package.

This is my first digital camera so I cannot really compare it to other models. I read the previous reviews and researched this product in Consumer Reports. The reason I bought it is the 12.1 megapixels for possible portrait enlargements, 8x zoom feature, wide angle feature, the long lasting battery life (330 pictures), and the ability to use the 4GB memory card. It is also the only subcompact with the 8x zoom. I am pleased with my purchase.

Excellent light little camera that will rival any other brand for the price range.

This is a wonderful little camera at 12 Mega Pixels and 8x optical. It is made in Japan and the quality is superb for taking pictures. I've tested the HD video capability, and it is great too. Anyway, at $220, this was a great buy. The feature that caught my attention was the fact that you can actually zoom while taking the HD videos with this camera. All menu items are very easy to navigate and you really don't even need to read the instructions. Well, I'm off to enjoy my camera...

Takes Clear Pics - Daughter Loves It!

I purchased this camera for my daughter for Christmas. She loves the compact size, and the large view screen on the back. The pictures are really clear and she says it's pretty easy to use.
