Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ10K 10MP Digital Camera (Black)

The quality of the pictures is just amazing. And it is small enough to take on walks and jogs. I wish sometimes that it would focus faster, but it is a small price to pay for perfectly focused, gorgeous photographs.

Was luck enough to buy this few weeks ago when it was $99.99. Unit arrived on time. Great photos although havent printed them out yet or downloaded to computer. Lots of nice features like the 5x optical zoom, manual controls available aside from Auto. Lots of flexibility. Anti-shake function too. Downside is flimsy, plastic, matte construction. User manual has some flaws in terms of clarity. Hard to find a matching camera case though. Runs on AA-batteries which is great when you run out of charge. Just go to nearest to store instead of having to charge a lithium-ion or polymer battery and wait for a long time. A great first-time Panasonic Lumix purchase for me. Strongly Recommended.

I got this camera for my mother for her birthday; she was long overdue a digital camera upgrade (say 7 years late). I read the reviews and got the camera based on them. I think the reviews were right on the money. The quality is good, the picture is more than acceptable and it is easy to use the basic functions and setup. I did not get to explore the video capabilities with her nor the wide angle feature (sill do on her Thanksgiving visit).

I like everything about it EXCEPT the delay in between pictures; this is why I gave it 4 stars vs 5. But I will emphasize that is just my rating, I am pretty sure my mom would give the whole 5.

After researching compact cameras for 2 weeks, I had narrowed down my choices to this camera. As with most electronic purchases I make, it was an agonizing process. Every camera had a feature that I wanted, yet none of them had everything that I wanted and operating the camera would be difficult with other camera's. This is a user friendly camera.It is very easy to use.I am giving one this for my father.Any one can use this easily and all the features is there in this camera for such a cheap price.As for the performance,I am very happy.
