Great Replacement for my trusty G5.
I've tried mice off and on. But in the end I always found myself coming back to my G5. Nothing came even close to matching how it fit my hand, and the adjustable weight and still decent dpi ratings made it more than worth keeping as my standard.
I saw this thing on newegg one day and thought "what a great idea!" I'm a console gamer primarily so moving my fingers from WASD leaves me lost. Well that problem seemed like it could be solved once I saw this thing. I went looking for another mouse like it and found none.
I went to Best Buy and put one in my hand, it felt like it had an easy feel and that the buttons would be fairly easy to use.
I bought one, and I've had it a whopping 24 hours now. And I can safely tell you my gaming on the pc has already improved. I haven't played Starcraft in about a month and I came out just about on par with where I was when I put the game away. The programable number keys on the mouse allow me to use keys 4-9 in a way I've never really been able to. When I click buildings and etc, I want to be able to just focus on using the building hot keys. I don't want my left hand trying to manage squads on the number keys and building selection, in addition to using the hotkeys.
This solved that problem perfectly.
In startrek online I'd seldom use keys 4-9 because my fingers would get lost on the keyboard, particularly during ground combat missions. Again the mouse has solved this perfectly.
It has an out and out Insane DPI rating, the software support is there and has gone without a hitch, it feels somewhat weighty in the hand without being too heavy, and it's comfortably ergonomic even for someone with large hands like me.
Worth every penny I spent.
